More than just looking good.
looks good, works hard.
Branding is how your business shows up, often before anyone reads a word about you. A clear logo, colours, and templates make it easier to share what you do and grow with confidence. Good branding is not decoration. It is the thing that keeps you recognisable as you get bigger.
Four ways to work with me: shape a strategy, build a brand, run a brand, or stack them.
The translate framework
Every brand sits in the overlap of three things: what your business does, what your audience needs, and the world around it. Lean too far into what you love and you can lose the room but then if you chase the audience, you can lose your intention. My job is to translate that overlap into a system that is clear, consistent, and unmistakably yours. That translation is the “+”
Shape
Shape a strategy
Work out what you are saying before you say it everywhere.
You know your work matters but getting someone else to see it in three seconds is the hard part. Together, we work out what you actually do and who it is for, find the story inside it, then turn that into something your team can run: the content pillars you post on, the formats you repeat and the voice it is all written int. You come out with words that fit in your mouth and a system that survives the week when it all gets hectic. No logo required, and none included.
Who it’s for: Businesses that are good at what they do and find it hard to explain simply. Founders who are the face of the brand and need a way to show up without starting from scratch every time. Teams who post regularly but are guessing at what to post. Anyone about to invest in a brand build who wants to know what it is saying first.
What you get:
+ Positioning: what you do, who it is for, and why it matters, in plain words ✓
+ The story, and how it shifts for the different people you talk to ✓
+ Content pillars and repeatable formats, so you are not reinventing the feed ✓
+ A channel plan and cadence ✓
+ A voice guide with real examples, and briefs your team can run from✓
Two ways it runs:
As a piece of work. We do the thinking, build the system, and I hand it over in a session where we pressure-test it against your next few months. You own it and your team runs it.
As an ongoing thing. Some strategies are not a decision you make once. If you are running a pilot, launching something, or working out what you are as you go, I stay on month to month, keeping the thinking straight and briefing the people doing the work.
Which one you need usually becomes obvious on the first call.
Small print, worth saying out loud: Shape is the words and the plan. When you are ready for the visual system that carries them, that is Build, and the two are made to run back to back.
Build
Build a brand
One-off project. Your visual brand identity system.
The visual half of your brand, built as a system. Not a logo handed over and left to drift but instead, a logo suite, colour, type, and the applications you actually use, with the rules that keep them working together as you grow.
More than a logo, every time.
This is my jam.
Who it’s for: New businesses starting from scratch, or an existing brand ready to rebuild. Rebranding? Discovery becomes a review of what you already have, what to keep and what to drop, and rollout support to move you off the old brand cleanly is included.
What you get:
+ Brand discovery and visual direction ✓
+ A full logo suite: primary, secondary, submark, and mark ✓
+ Colour and typography, with the rules for using them ✓
+ The core assets you need to launch ✓
+ Brand guidelines ✓
Every build is scoped to you, so how far it goes and depth are set in the proposal after we talk.
Small print, worth saying out loud: Build is the visual side. If you also need the words, the messaging, and the plan for what you are actually posting about, that is Shape, and the two work well back to back.
Run
Run a brand
Monthly retainer. Keep it showing up.
A logo does not keep your brand going, consistent content does. Each month I design a set batch of on-brand pieces and a simple plan for what goes out, so you are not starting from scratch every week. I can run a brand I built, or one you already have.
Each month you get:
+ A set number of designed posts and stories, agreed up front ✓
+ Reusable, on-brand templates you can post from yourself ✓
+ A simple monthly content plan ✓
+ Flyers, ads, or one-off graphics, up to an agreed amount ✓
What it is not:
+ Not running your accounts day to day, posting, replying, DMs
+ Not paid ad management or analytics
+Not growth or social strategy beyond keeping things consistent
Your design team on a monthly schedule, not a full marketing agency. Clear scope with the same price each month.
stack
Stack Together
More than one of the above, in order, with one person on all of it.
Shape, Build, and Run each work on their own. Stacked is what happens when you take more than one, in sequence, and it is the way I would point most people if the timing and the budget allow.
It is not a bundle, it is the same job carried the whole way through instead of handed over halfway.
Three ways to stack:
Shape + Build
+ You work out what you are saying before you decide what it looks like. Every design decision after that has something to point at, which makes the build faster and the result much harder to argue with ✓
Build + Run
+ The one most people already know they want. I build the identity, then keep it consistent month to month, so it does not drift the moment we wrap ✓
Shape + Build + Run
+ Naming it, building it, and keeping it going, with one person holding all of it from start to ongoing ✓✓✓
Why it matters: Brands drift in the gaps, not in the work.
A strategist hands to a designer, who hands to whoever ends up posting and a little can get lost each time. Stack has no handovers, instead there is one discovery instead of three, and each stage makes the next one easier.
One proposal, one sequence, with dates. Each stage has its own start and finish, so nothing is locked in beyond the stage you have agreed. One discovery instead of two or three, because stage one only happens once.
Something else in mind?
Not listed? Still possible.
Some projects start as a loose idea. Tell me what you are thinking and we will shape it together to see if it is the right fit.

A brand that holds together, and keeps showing up.
